A freshly made Korea newbie, powered by curiosity
Bob may not know much about Korea yet, but he is always ready to try a new food or explore a new place. Whenever he has a question, he turns to Kim. Whenever Dugi hears about something fun, Bob happily follows along. He makes plenty of mistakes, but each new experience brings him closer to creating a life of his own in Korea.
KIM
A self-appointed expert on life in Korea
Kim is a cat who once lived on meals from the noble Kim household. After years of overhearing the family’s conversations, he became surprisingly knowledgeable about Korean life and culture.
Now he goes around pretending to be a nobleman himself while helping Korea newbies. He may seem a little suspicious—and he certainly likes to exaggerate—but his advice is usually more useful than you might expect.
DUGI
A tiny but spicy trend explorer
Dugi is a cube of kkakdugi who escaped from the jar because the world beyond the jangdokdae looked far too exciting to miss.
Dugi may look small and adorable, but there is plenty of spice underneath. If there is a new café, pop-up store, festival, or exciting place to explore, Dugi will be the first to find it.
